Product Description

In sight of the One Health approach and committed to the reduction of antibiotic use on farms, Intracare developed Intra Hoof-fit Gel for the treatment of digital dermatitis and thus is the first and only company to offer a eco-friendly solution without antibiotics to treat this pathology without veterinary prescription.

Intra Hoof-fit Gel is composed mainly of Copper and Zinc, two compounds, in organic form (chelates) of mineral origin, recognized for their antibacterial properties and easily absorbed (stable and soluble compounds) by the sole to effectively navigate towards inflammation.

Its dual mode of action kills bacteria of the Treponema genus and promotes wound healing to prevent new infections.

Highly adhesive, the gel application is durable for maximum contact time and continue to be active even when animals walk through manure.

Without antibiotics, the use of the gel during the milking period does not cause any withdrawal of milk through treatment. Safe for the environment, the quantities of Copper and Zinc are negligible and do not constitute any ecotoxicological risk when they are found in manure, slurry, etc.

Can be used for the treatment of lesions (white line disease), necrosis, degeneration or other hoof problems in cattle, sheep and equines.

Composition : Per 1 g (active substances): 40 mg of Copper (in the form of diammonium copper edetate) and 40 mg of Zinc (in the form of diammonium edetate of Zinc)

Application

Day 0: If the lesion is soiled, clean with disposable compresses the claw and the interdigital space to ensure direct contact with the gel, then apply the product with a clean brush and bandage the wound.

Day 3: Remove the dressing and if necessary reapply Intra Hoof-fit Gel or spray the wound with the Intra Repiderma. Do not cover with a bandage.
